As the height of the 2024 Hurricane season draws near (running from June 1st to November 30th), we aim to equip our clients, residents of the Venice and Port Charlotte area communities, and business partners with essential information to stay prepared.
It's crucial to recognize that even if your home or business is fortified against the direct impact of a storm, critical infrastructure systems such as electricity, water, sewer, roads, and public transportation may suffer severe disruption. Damage to these systems can impede your ability to restock supplies or receive assistance, with delays lasting from hours to days in areas affected by major storms and hurricanes.
